A silk scarf is a beautiful and delicate accessory that requires some special care.

Your silk scarf should only be dry cleaned (if necessary).

Never machine-wash or tumble dry your silk scarves as silk is very sensitive to heat.

In order to remove wrinkles, iron your scarf on low heat. Be sure to use a pressing cloth or a clean cotton towel between the iron and the scarf to avoid damaging the fabric. Always prefer ironing the scarf instead of steaming it as silk is very sensitive to (hot) water.

Make sure you store your scarf carefully. Fold it neatly and place it inside the scarf box in a dry and cool place protected from sunlight, insects and humidity. Avoid hanging it up, as this can cause the fabric to stretch out of shape.

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and rain: Sunlight can cause silk to fade, so avoid leaving your scarf in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Rain on the other side can make the scarf lose its coloration and shape.
