Corozo is a nut that comes from the Tagua palm tree in the rainforest of Ecuador and is a commonly used and robust material for the button manufacturing industry.

The tagua palms are not damaged during harvesting. Instead, only their fruits are collected and used to produce corozo buttons.

Corozo offers a plant-based alternative to horn buttons and aligns with our preference for natural-material components. Similar to horn buttons, corozo features a distinctive natural grain that gives each button its own unique character.

All our corozo buttons are produced in Germany. We carefully select our suppliers to ensure high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
