Lyocell is a cellulose-based fiber made from wood pulp.
For our TILDA turtleneck, we use TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers manufactured by Lenzing. According to Lenzing, the wood used for TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers comes from FSC®- or PEFC-certified or controlled wood sources.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are produced using a closed-loop process. According to Lenzing, more than 99.8% of the solvent used to transform the wood pulp into fibers is recovered and fed back into the production loop.
At LOTTA LUDWIGSON, TENCEL™ Lyocell is currently used exclusively as part of the merino wool and lyocell blend of our black TILDA turtleneck.
