Shipping policy
We ship all orders with as minimal packaging as possible. All orders are shipped from our Warehouse in Berlin using DHL. Please allow a processing time of 1-5 business days.
RETURNS WITHIN THE EUROPEAN UNION
The European law states that when an order is being returned, it is mandatory for the company to refund the product price and shipping costs charged for the original shipment. Meaning: one shipping fee is paid by us.
If you placed an order you want to return it, you will be refunded the product price, but since we paid for the initial shipping (since there was “free shipping” for you, you will pay for the return).
GENERAL INFORMATION ON RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Free return shipping if we have sent you the wrong item or size or your product arrived damaged.
You have to pay for return shipping if you want to exchange your product for another size or the package is returned because it has not been picked up at the post office.
We currently do not offer exchanges. If you want to exchange for another size, color or style, please place a new order.
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM
You have the right to return or exchange your order within fourteen days from the day on which the goods were delivered to you.
- If you want to return an item, simply e-mail us at support@lottaludwigson.com, tell us your order number and the reason for your return. We will guide you through the quick process.
- When returning a product you are obliged to keep the product in the same condition as when delivered. You must not have used the product/service, however you have the right to investigate the condition the product was in when delivered. All original packaging, price labels etc shall be returned with the product without having been tampered with. If damage or harm is caused to a product while investigated the product does not qualify for the return policy.
- Returns have to be paid by you, so choose to drop off your package at your preferred return location. Please note that the responsibility for the return is yours until it reaches us, so we recommend that the return shipment is insured and traceable. Should you return your order from another country than the one it was shipped to, please contact our customer care at support@lottaludwigson.com.
- Once we've received the returned items, we will examine them and start your refund process. If you followed the return instructions correctly, the product price and initial shipping costs will be refunded. LOTTA LUDWIGSON will repay the price of the item as soon as possible, however at the latest within 30 days from the date the item was returned and received by us. The funds will be returned to your original method of payment and can take 5 -10 business days to show up on your account, from the time they have been authorized by us.
If your return is not made within the 14-day window or if the returned items do not reflect the original quality, you are not eligible for a refund.

Please also bear in mind that shipping goods back and forth generates greenhouse gases that are accelerating climate change. We encourage you to choose your items carefully to avoid unnecessary return shipments.CUSTOMS
Within the European Union you will not be charged for customs. For international shipments outside the European Union, there may be duties and taxes incurred on your shipment that you will be responsible for. For more information, please contact your local customs office.
