Cotton is a natural fiber that grows on the cotton plant, primarily in warm climates around the world. It is known for its softness, breathability and absorbency.
For our LUMA T-shirts, we use 100% certified organic cotton with a fabric weight of 190 g/m². The cotton is sourced directly from smallholder farmers in India and Tanzania and is traceable back to the seed.
Through our production partnership with Remei AG, participating farmers receive purchase guarantees and direct payments based on the current market price, plus an additional 15% premium.
