Lyocell fibers are a type of cellulose fiber derived from sourced wood pulp. The wood used to produce the type of Lyocell fibers we are using is sourced is made from a closed-loop process, where 99% of the waste and water used in the production process is recycled and reused.

One of the key features of these lyocell fibers is their biodegradability and compostability, which means that they can be broken down by natural processes and returned to the earth without causing harm to the environment.

Currently, LOTTA LUDWIGSON incorporates Lyocell as a component of a merino wool and lyocell blend solely in our black turtleneck called TILDA. This enables the garment to combine the advantageous characteristics of both fabrics, such as softness, warmth, comfort, breathability, and temperature regulation.
